Kohima, April 20 (MExN): Kohima Police personnel manning the Khuzama interstate check gate have recovered 52,000 capsules of banned Spasmo Proxyvon drug worth Rs 5,20,000 in black market from a vehicle (Maruti Wagon R, AS-17-2734, Chassis No.- MA3EED81S00108847, Engine No.- F10DN4009254). According to a press release from PRO, Kohima Police, the drug was neatly packed in polyethene bags and was found concealed in various parts of the scheme body of the vehicle. Two persons identified as PH. Esha Ali and MD. Imtiyaj Khan, both from Manipur, were taken into police custody for possession and transporting the banned drug. Meanwhile, a regular case vide Khuzama P.S Case No. 0017/2016 U/S 22 (C) NDPS Act has been registered against them, the release added.
