Kohima, September 1 (MExN): Kohima Police personnel manning the Peducha check gate while conducting routine checking and frisking of vehicles on Thursday morning intercepted one Manipur bound passenger bus and recovered 72,440 capsules of banned Spasmo proxyvon drug and 8,000 tablets of Nitrosun from the possession of four individuals. According to a press release from the PRO Kohima Police, the seized drugs is believed to be worth Rs. 8,04,400. Police identified the four as Ibem (30 yrs), Md. Akthar Khan (24 yrs), Ziaor Rahman (33 yrs) and Md. Hashim Khan (29 yrs). The four have been taken into police custody for the possession and transportation of banned drugs. In this connection, a regular case vide Sechü(Zubza) P.S Case No. 0022/2016 U/S 13 (b) DC Act is registered against the four accused and remanded to judicial custody.
