DIMAPUR, MARCH 10 (MExN): The Dimapur Urban Council Chairmen Federation (DUCCF) today made a u-turn on support for installation of electricity prepaid metering system. It said that that the press release dated March 16, 2022 regarding full support and cooperation to the Power Department in this exercise stands "null and void" till further consultative discussions and proper sensitization of the electricity prepaid metering are done inclusive of the GB Union Dimapur (Sadar). A press release from the DUCCF informed that the joint meeting with the GB Union Dimapur (Sadar) and the DUCCF held on February 28, 2021 was a collective decision and the DUCCF stands firm with the collective decision arrived at then. The DUCCF said that it is “an apex body of the Chairmen of 98 colonies and stands for the citizens and the denizens of the urban municipal area of Dimapur.
