Dimapur, August 3 (MExN): The Duncan Basti Council (DBC), Dimapur in order to stop the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, has advised the colony residents and the shopkeepers to strictly adhere to the following guidelines:
• Wearing of face mask and gloves is mandatory for all the shopkeepers. Fines will be imposed on those failing to do so.
• Duncan public is advised to wear mask and maintain social distancing while availing essential commodities.
• Spitting in public places is strictly prohibited.
• Shopkeepers are advised to keep their surrounding clean which has been instructed by the DBC earlier. Failing which fine will be imposed.
• As per the notice issued earlier to the vegetable vendors by the Council, selling of vegetables on the footpath and open spaces is strictly prohibited.
• The shopkeepers are advised to open their shops as per the Government order from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
