Dimapur, March 4 (MExN): The District Youth Congress (DYC), Zunheboto has clarified on the resignation of its former president Kiyeyi P Aye, that as per the directives of Indian Youth Congress (IYC), the Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress (NPYC) held a meeting at Congress Bhavan Kohima on February 14and dissolved the entire DYC, Zunheboto office bearers.
A press note issued by the general secretary (Admn) Kughavi H Anche, DYC Zunheboto stated that the circulation was given to all the DCC presidents as well as DYCs and asked them to reorganize the DYC office bearers and elect a new DYC president immediately which was published on February 16 and 17. Whereas, Kiyeyi P Aye resign and joint NPF party and it was published in the local dailies on February 26 and 27. In which it was stated that the “present president is purely immoral”. Therefore, he should be noted as the former president DYC, Zunheboto and not as stated in the newspapers.
