Our Correspondent Kohima | January 27 29 year old Dzieselatuo Keriitsii of Kohima village today downed his elder brother Sedevizo Keriitsii (30 years) in the final to emerge as the champion of the Northern Angami Sports Association (NASA) Wrestling Meet at the Kohima Local Ground. The wrestling event is part of NASA’s 58th Meet. Dzieselatuo beat Menuosetuo Yiese and Zasituo Tsiikrii in the quarterfinals and semifinals respectively while runner-up Sedevizo overpowered Keduovilie Zumu and Keneikhrielie Yhome. Zasituo Tsiikrii of Dihoma village and Keneikhrielie Yhome of Kohima village stood third and fourth place respectively. Meanwhile, the 14 qualified wrestlers to represent NASA at the forthcoming ASA wrestling meet are: Dzieselatuo Keriitsii, Sedevizo Keriitsii, Zasituo Tsiikrii, Keneikhrielie Yhome, Kezhabou Zumu, Keviyenyii Rutsa, Kezhavizo Thevo, Menuosetuo Yiese, Kikruvilie Zumu, Seyiekhrietuo Yiese, Keduovilie Zumu, Kekhriengulie Whuorie, Kevizolie Whuorie and Khrievotuo Sekhose. Earlier, Parliamentary Secretary for Youth Resources & Sports, State Lotteries and Music Task Force Khriehu Liezietsu graced the wrestling meet as the chief guest while NASA Wrestling Secretary Zhakholie Metha administered oath to the wrestlers.
