K Therie, President, NPCC speaking during the Eastern Christian College 28th freshers meet on September 3.

Dimapur, September 3 (MExN): The Eastern Christian College (ECC) celebrated its 28th freshers meet under the theme, ‘triumph: towards unison’ in the college Multipurpose Hall on September 3 with K Therie, President, Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) and former Finance Minister as the chief guest.
The chief guest emphasised on the importance of coming together as one under the same umbrella of being a Naga and urged the audience to reflect back on the sacrifices made by the pioneers of Naga freedom movement. ECC, Principal, Dr Keneisenuo Solo exhorted the fresher to set good examples.
A press release issued by Media Cell, ECC stated that the first session saw the presentation of songs and dances as well as the introduction of the contestants for the Mr & Miss Freshers 2022. In the second session, the students performed varied acts of entertainment. Kito Swu and Alovi Sumi were crowned the Mr & Miss Freshers 2022.
The programme was organised by ECCSU and the event sponsors were Nagaland Exotic Model Hunt, Sharon Crafts, Mixpick Enterprise, Infinite Solution and AS Store.
