Kohima, May 24 (MExN): The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer has notified all concerned that for election to the Bye-Election to Lok Sabha from Nagaland Parliamentary Constituency, 2018 shall come to an end with effect from May 26 (Saturday), 4:00 pm.
A press release from CEO, Abhijit Sinha, IAS, Nagaland has further directed all the district election administration/ police administration to ensure all political functionaries coming from outside the constituency for campaigning and not voter of the constituency to leave the constituency immediately after the campaign period is over. However, the said restriction may not be insisted upon the office bearer of the political party who is in-charge of the State. Such office bearer of the political party shall declare his place of stay in the State Headquarters and his movement during the period in question shall remain confined normally between his party office and place of his stay, the release further informed.
