Dimapur, May 7 (MExN): The East Dimapur Town Council (EDTC) has issued a directive mandating individuals, businesses, and organisations to obtain prior permission from the EDTC before putting up any advertisements, posters, or banners within its jurisdiction.
Those without permission are required to regularise their advertisements within seven days of the issuance of the directive.
As per the EDTC, the directive is aimed at to upholding cleanliness, public order, and visual harmony in public spaces. It urged the public to comply within the stipulated timeframe and thanked citizens for their cooperation in maintaining orderliness.
