Pfutsero, March 24 (MExN): The 34th Parting Social of Pfutsero Government College, Pfutsero was held on March 24 at the college auditorium with the Director of Higher Education, Kohima I. Alempokba, as the chief guest.
In his speech, Alempokba the former Principal of the college said, “Education should be a tool to sharpen the potentials of a person and see what has not been seen, to go where one has not gone, and emancipate and think beyond backward tag.”
He also congratulated the teaching and non-teaching staff for continues effort rendered and also appreciated the student for their good discipline and making the college felt among the other government college in the state. He further challenged the student both the outgoing and those who still will continue in the college to have big dreams, compete in the main stream, believe in oneself, strive and work hard to achieve their goals in life and be an asset to the family and society by having a sense of responsibility.
A press note stated that in the programme, the College magazine “A voyage of Discovery” was released by the chief guest.
