Dimapur, May 23 (MExN): The Excise personnel under the Superintendent of Excise, Dimapur performing Election Expenditure Monitoring (EEM) duty seized 168 bottles of Beer (650 ml) from Half Nagarjan on May 19. In this connection two, Azad Ali (27) and Fazal Ali (24) were arrested and penalized under section 44 of NLTP Act 1989, informed a press release from T Arilong Longkumer, Superintendent of Excise & Prohibition, Dimapur. Also on May 18, two persons Narendra (27) and Vikash (27) were arrested from Rail Gate, Dimapur for illegal possession of 84 assorted IMFL. Accordingly, a case was registered under the relevant section of the NLTP Act.
