The Nagaland Athletics Association today organized the 3rd edition of The Great Hornbill Run 2023 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima. 80 athletes joined the event.
In senior men category, Wede T Mero bagged the first position while Tsole Yhokha and M Nokching Chang stood 2nd and 3rd position. They received Rs 15,000, Rs 10,000 and Rs 7000 respectively.
Tsuchoi T, Songmoi P and Niansai T bagged first, second and third position in senior women category and received Rs 15,000, Rs 10,000 and Rs 7000 respectively.
In Under 16 boys, Viphuzo Sakhamo stood first position while Thejanguzo Pfukha, Guizingba Pampuinath stood 2nd and 3rd position respectively. Under 16 Girls, Khrotshoh Tsuhah, Sahulii Dozo and Supei S bagged the first, second and third position respectively.
In under 18 (Boys), A Marikho, Neizovolie and Kupe Vero stood first second and third position respectively. Under 18 (Girls)- 1st- Imtisangla Kanshou, 2nd- L. Nyuhen, 3rd- Roselin Vaiphei.
Prize money for Under 16 & 18 for Boys and Girls stands at Rs 10,000 for first and Rs 7000, Rs 5000, Rs 3000 and Rs 2000 for second, third, fourth and fifth position respectively.
