Peren, December 21 (MExN): The newly constructed church building of Elohim Rongmei Baptist Church (ERBC) under Rongmei Baptist Church Association Nagaland (RBCAN) New Jalukie, Peren Nagaland was dedicated by Rev Dr Zelhou Keyho, General Secretary, NBCC with the theme “This is the LORD’s doing; it is Marvelous in our eyes” Psalms 118:23 on December 20.
In his address, Rev Keyho encouraged the congregation to be a channel of blessings, to stand firm in their faith and work for the extension of the Lord’s Kingdom. A church, he said must be a place where it should open for every individual who believes in Jesus Christ to come and received blessings, healing and should a soul saving place.
The Dedication Ceremony was chaired by Aguipou Pamei, Associate Pastor, ERBC; Takui Gangmei, Convener, Church Dedication Committee greeted and welcomed the gathering, invitees, daughters of the church; Rev Namrong Pamei, Pastor, ERBC led the congregation in Responsive Reading.
Rev Mathiuthai Gonmei, Executive Secretary, RBCAN released the Souvenir which is the publication of Church Building Dedication.
The Church Building Construction report was delivered by Aphun Gonmei, Secretary, Church Building Dedication Committee. To mention, the event was attended by various association leaders, ordained ministers, Pastors-deacons, church leaders/elders and many other civil society organizations (CSO’s) of the community and beyond. The Church Dedication Choir presented a song, Bible Reading by Kaphunsin Gangmei, Deacon, ERBC and mass prayer & benediction was led by Guiki Gonmei, Deacon, ERBC.
Later, in the evening Rev Mathiuthai Gonmei, Executive Secretary, RBCAN delivered Gospel Message on the theme “Great is Thy Faithfulness” – Lamentations 3:23.
