DIMAPUR, APRIL 30 (MExN): The Eastern Nagaland Peoples' Organization (ENPO), along with the eight Tribal Councils, reaffirmed its stance on the Indo-Naga political issue following a deliberation held at Tuensang on April 16.
In a press statement received on Wednesday, ENPO media cell informed that the meeting, which focused on upholding the principle of “Unity First, Solution Second,” led to a unanimous resolution to refrain from attending any invitations extended by Naga political groups.
The ENPO voiced concern that the multiplication of various factions within the Naga Political Groups was found to be contradictory to our principal stand. Hence, it unanimously resolved to stay away from attending any invitation to any programme/functions of all the NPGs.
This resolution had been initiated in order to discourage mushrooming of multiple factions that is disintegrating the Naga family in the name of Naga cause, the statement read.
