ENPUD flag off ambulance service in Dimapur

Dimapur, September 7 (MExN): The Eastern Nagaland People’s Union Dimapur (ENPUD) has flagged off an ambulance at Konyak Community Centre, East Burana bazaar on September 5.

‘The ambulance will usher to the needy patients of the Eastern people and people around Dimapur in the events of emergencies as a helping hand,’ stated a press release issued by the Media Cell, ENPUD.

The dedicatory/sanctification prayer for the ambulance was pronounced by Rev Athsan, pastor, Yimkhiung Baptist Church Dimapur and formally flagged off by Ongbou Chang, former president and Advisor ENPUD. 

The programme was chaired by Mongtson L Chiu, Finance Secretary, ENPUD. Invocation prayer was pronounced by Lichangse Sangtam, Church secretary Sangtam Baptist Church Burana bazaar. L Shahato Yimkhiung, President, ENPUD, welcomed the gathering and conveyed gratitude to all the federating units (KUD, YUD, PUD, KUD (Konyak), SUD TUD, CUD), ENWOD, DENSU, ENPUC and well wishers for fulfilling the ambulance project. Special appearance was presented by Konyak Students Union Dimapur.
