DIMAPUR, APRIL 22 (MExN): The Eastern Naga Students Federation (ENSF) has called off its agitation at the Nagaland Secretariat, Kohima which began on April 21.
A press release from the ENSF media cell stated that this decision was taken after the federation received an official letter from the Nagaland State Government, wherein the Cabinet agreed in principle for incorporation of exempted departments and posts as demanded by ENSF under the NSSB Regulation, 2020.
The ENSF acknowledged the government of the day led by Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio for considering the “legitimate demand placed by ENSF in the larger interest of the aspirants in particular and the Nagas in general.” The federation further appealed to the State Government to expedite the process in making the NSSB operational at the earliest possible time.
