Er. Picto calls for uplifting Trinity Theological College

Parliamentary Secretary for Justice & Law, Er. Picto Shohe has called upon all responsible to work with renewed zeal and commitment to uplift the Trinity Theological College (TTC), Thahekhu to a higher level, noting that the college since its inception has been endowed with the most desired results along with the recognition from Serampore University.  

TTC celebrated Silver Jubilee at its campus from November 10-12 attended by its students, parents, alumni, former members of the Board of Governors, faculty and a host of Sumi church leaders.  

Exhorting the congregation on Sunday devotional service, Er. Picto said that the institution was a pride for the Sumi community in particular and Naga people in general and called for a concerted effort to make the college stride to greater heights.  

Er. Picto, who is a former member of the Governing Board TTC and also oversaw construction of various structures as Convenors within the TTC campus, reminisced that there had been difficulties but all along God had been with them and had led the people thus far.  

Recognizing God’s blessings to the institution, he acknowledged all those who have selflessly toiled for the Lord in various capacities. On the occasion of jubilee, Er. Picto called for renewing dedication to the Lord with more vigour and remain steadfast with prayers.  

Earlier, Principal TTC, Rev. Dr. Kavito Zhimo informed that the college, in commemoration of silver jubilee, would be introducing Post Graduate (MTh) programme. Dedication for introduction of MTh was conducted by Executive Secretary, WSBAK, Rev. Dr. Hevukhu Achumi.  

Principal, Eastern Theological College, Jorhat, Rev. Dr. Akheto Sema delivered the sermon on ‘My Presence will go with you’.
