Kohima, March 5 (MExN): Er Picto Shohe has been assigned as leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Legislature Party.
The decision for the same was taken during the party’s first meeting of NCP legislators on March 4 at Hotel Japfu Kohima in the presence of Narendra B Verma, NCP National General Secretary (In-charge of North East).
The meeting also assigned P Longon as Deputy Leader while Namri Nchang and V Mhonbemo Humtsoe will respectively be the Party’s Chief Whip and Whip in the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
S Toiho Yeptho has been designated as the official spokesperson of the party.
Mentionably, NCP won seven seats in the recent 2023 state general elections held on February 27.
