Zunheboto, August 6 (MExN): The Eastern Sumi Students' Union (ESSU) held its third felicitation programme for successful candidates of the HSLC and HSSLC exams, results of which were declared recently.
Held under the theme ‘Towards resilient Education’ on August 6 at Aghunato Town Baptist Church, the programme was attended by Er G Vihepu Yeptho (E E, Highway PWD NH Kohima division) who exhorted the students.
Calling on the young minds, Yeptho said that if they want to be successful, they need to be specialized in different ways as they are living in a specialized world where skillful people are required.
He urged them to move out of their comfort zones and train themselves in whatever way possible because success does not happen overnight but takes months and years of hard work and dedication to reach the goal.
While lauding the successful candidates for bringing laurels to the area, he also encouraged the students who did not make it through the exams by advising them to seek God’s help and start working from now.
