Dimapur, December 2 (MExN): Euro International School, Dimapur celebrated its 5th ‘annual function cum parent's day’ where all the students participated. The function commenced with welcome speech by Principal, Euro International School who also read out the annual report of the school. Principals from various schools were also invited to the programme as special guests. Reji Abraham, Principal, SD Jain Hr Sec School in her speech spoke about the role of schools in teaching moral values to the children and also emphasized on the need of understanding the children psychology to bring about an overall development in them. Euro International School, Principal Sandeep K Jain in a press release said that the celebrations were initiated with an exclusive dance performance with a message of 'Saving the girl child' by the UKG children. A special performance by a choir group of Class 1 children set the mood of the program. The outstanding dance movements by the tiny tots to the foot tapping music enthralled the audience. An astounding visual treat was presented when the playgroup and LKG students performed the ball dance. Be it a special Qawalli performance or the Hawaiian, Spanish or the Arabian Dance, the programme was an amalgamation of various hues and the students spread the colours of peace and happiness. Apart from the performances by the kids, the annual awards were presented to children and their parents for various events that were held during the year.
