
Dimapur, October 31 (MExN): The ‘Ex-Underground Khellers’ had an emergency meeting on October 30th evening and resolved to clear its position that as per the GoI policy for rehabilitation, the Industrial Village Razhuphe land was allotted to more than 35 ‘Ex-Underground’ for their resettlement. Therefore the ‘Industrial Estate Tenants’ or entrepreneurs must vacate the land before any eventuality takes place. A press statement issued by the ‘sessional secretary’ of ‘Ex-Underground Kheller’ of Industrial Village Razhuphe, Dimapur stated that “there is no Government land in Nagaland” and government has not acquired the said area of village. Moreover the NIDC or Industries Department had purchased a big area of land at Ganeshnagar village in Dimapur. Interestingly the statement also stated: “…the main file for the suit land was missing from the court since 10/10/10 and could not trace out the same. Accordingly, situation has compelled us to take up action to get back our land from the encroachers.”
