The best way to predict your future is to create it Abraham Lincoln whenever this quotes comes to mind we can't but think /recall how important our future is, yet it is equally or perhaps more important than we give our best to the present to work out for future as the society demands .This would be true but time and again, careers and future are destroyed just because the concern authority choose to sit idle and lazy over their comfortable seats least bothering about the downtrodden and unprivileged section of society.
Here we would like to lament some of the lapses and atrocities the students of Govt High school has to undergo, it been a month since 2016s HSLC and HSSLC exam were held. Many students are dreaming about their future as the educational institutions around the state has prepared for them for. But for more than 50 students of GHS Chessore it complete U-Turn as the school has been running for past two years without a single maths and science teachers and at this very amidst a hurdle for the best this students has missed the bus.
Imagine appearing for arguably one of the most crucial exam without a single chapter of either maths or science being covered! The students went ahead with their exam (who wouldn't??) but it’s Crystal clear that only some students would crawl up from among them and the remaining will end up in dreaming best for their life my question is?? What do we expect from those students deprived of privileges and rights and devoid of proper attention doctors, engineers OR scientists??
Time is money, they say but what about the year these students spend and spend in darkness??we were thought the government today are welfare government but it's a complete bafflement like me to fathom why “Welfare” Whatsoever in denying some of the poorest and unprivileged students of our state, the benefit which the government ought to perform/give, requests, pending representative and pressure from various organizations went up in smoke. Education today is considered necessity and such negligence and incompetence from the part of the concern authority is regrettable. Time waits for none and we have lost two precious years running from the pillar to post. The writers has no malice or illegal in writing this piece but as a concern citizen and stakeholder of our society zoom out the facts and urge the authority to do away with lack of teachers all over the state irrespective of any particular so that our children continues their faith in the system as also to ensure a better and prosperous future.
