Mokokchung, December 4 (MExN): Three organizations representing the different ranges of Ao region has stated that it expects the Ao Senden to join the Naga Hoho soon.
The three organizations – Jangpetkong Senso Mongdang (JSM), Japukong Senso Senden (JSS) and Tzurangkong Senso Mongdang (TSM) – in a press release stated that it expects the Ao Senden to rejoin the Naga Hoho as the issue of ex-communication of Naga Hoho President P. Chuba Ozukum from Ao citizenship is being resolved amicably.
The JSM, JSS and TSM along with the Village Councils (Putu Menden) from the three Ranges expressed its appreciation to the Ao Senden – its apex body – for exhibiting maturity towards resolving the issue amicably on November 21 with P. Chuba Ozukum.
“As the misunderstanding is being resolved harmoniously, we expect Ao Senden to join Naga Hoho at the earliest in the interest of common Naga people for unity and political solution,” it stated.
“We are also indebted to have learnt about the fulfillment of the demand of Ao Senden, Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) and other constituent units over the Rongmei issue,” the statement added.
