FAC Creative Arts Committee hosts ‘September Mélange’

Mokokchung, September 10 (MExN): The Creative Arts Committee of Fazl Ali College (FAC) organized the 4th edition of September Mélange from September 6 to 8, culminating with the College Foundation Day on the third day.

The inaugural programme was held with Sentilong Ozukum, SDO (Civil) Mokokchung as the special guest. The programme included a teachers’ exhibition debate on the topic, ‘Clean Election is a farce.’ It was followed by the inauguration of stalls and exhibitions/sales by the special guest.

A number of competitions were also held including cosplay, flower arrangement, dialogue writing, Spin a Yarn (story narration), dance solo, debate, singing (solo), painting, photography and the Battle of Bands. 

Lit-Colloquium III, a talk series on the topic, ‘gender gap in political participation and political knowledge of youth in Nagaland’ was also initiated by the Department of English with Lipokrenla Jamir, Asst. Professor, Department of Political Science, Zunheboto Government College and Research Scholar as the resource person.

The 63rd Foundation Day of the college was celebrated on the third day with Shashank Pratap Singh (IAS), DC Mokokchung as the special guest. The college Vice-Principal, R Arenla Aier highlighted the journey of Fazl Ali College. 

Various awards for academic excellence were also given during the programme.
