DIMAPUR, MARCH 17 (MEXN): In response to the justification made by Tsalimthong, Deputy Director NSCN(IM) on March 14, the family of Throngtsangki, Hd GB who was killed in the Pungro massacre, stated in a press release that his justification after a month of hiding in Dimapur could not override the facts and proven evidence.
The family of the deceased said that the accounts of the family who were eye witnesses to the incident and also that of the six accused imprisoned in Dimapur and the public of Zanger, implicated Tsalilmthong as the “murder gang leader” who led the mob from Zanger to Pungro with sophisticated weapons (Sten gun). The release continued that the Deputy Director of NSCN(IM), Yamuli Lacy and Alo Rajapyo NSCN(IM) has master planned the tragic incident and was now trying to escape charges with false statements and added that though he managed to escape the authority of the GPRN, the Lord Omnipresent would deal with him according to his deeds.
The family also urged various competent authorities not to take into account the statement of Tsalimthong which was given after a month of the heinous crime and also pleaded to all the Naga citizens to help vanquish the false justification and let truth prevail.
