DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 23 (MExN): The Nagaland State Home Commissioner issued a notification today declaring February 27, Tuesday as a paid holiday in view of the forthcoming State Assembly Polls. As per the notification, the day of polling is declared as paid holiday to all employees of Government/Private establishments and shops in the state of Nagaland to enable them to participate and exercise their franchise. This however does not apply to any elector whose absence may cause danger or substantial loss in respect of the employment in which he is engaged.
