DIMAPUR, JANUARY 8 (MExN): The Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN), Ministry of Raliwali Affairs under the leadership of Brig. (Retd) S Singnya Kedahge, has appointed Khapha Phom as the Midan Peyu of Phom Region with immediate effect.
In a press statement, the FGN has appealed the Phom Peoples’ Council (PPC) to “kindly co-operate towards the government newly appointed Midan Peyu for the cause of the nation.” Additionally, the FGN has informed that it has terminated Kilonser Chuba Kumzuk Phom for his anti-government activities with effect from January 7.
