DIMAPUR, JUNE 10 (MExN): The Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) has expressed sadness at the demise of Lt Col Neikhrolo of the 13th Bn, 5th Brigade S/C, Naga Army who passed away at his native village on June 10. A press release from General Tavecho Lala, Commander-in-Chief, Naga Army, FGN informed that late Neikhrolo joined the National Defence Service on May 25, 1966 and served as a chaplain of the 13th Bn, Naga Army. “He faithfully served the Nation till his last breath. He was a true patriot,” the press release stated. It added that his untimely demise “was a great loss for the Naga Army and the Nation. Yet his true sacrifice for the Nation will remain alive in the history of the Nation.” The FGN extended condolences to the bereaved family.
