DIMAPUR, JUNE 6 (MExN): Finance Secretary cum Midan Peyu, Sumi region of the FGN, V. Phutoi Zhimomi has written an open letter to Pughoboto GBs and Ighanumi village leaders, officially inviting them to come to him on June 13, 2007 positively. “This invitation is served to you because you are still confused on the case of late Nishena who was beaten to death on 21st May 2007 at Poruba village by a notorious Zopra Vero group”, Zhimomi stated.
The open letter stated that Federal Naga Army Captain N.D. Bikou has given clarification on the death of late Nishena of Ighanumi village, a School Chowkidar that the FGN does not hold the responsible of his death as appeared in Nagaland dailies on May 23, 2007. “Still then you are confused and your statement on the said case appeared in the Morung Express on 6th June 2007 under the caption “Sumi Orgs lash out at FGN over atrocities”, blaming the FGN for trying to hide the ugly incident”.
Zhimomi stated that a personal meeting for clarification was needed for understanding and gave his contact no as 9436001453. “I am compelled to invite you in the hope that you will comply with in the interest of healthy understanding”.
