FGN shares Christmas greetings

DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 22 (MExN): Kedahge of the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN), Zhopra Vero, has extended Christmas greetings, emphasizing the significance of the birth of Jesus Christ and its message of hope, joy, and peace.

In his message, Vero expressed gratitude for the day, describing it as a "simple and profound" reminder of God's presence among humanity. He highlighted that Christmas is not only a celebration of Jesus' birth but also a testament to God's reconciliation with mankind through Christ.

Reflecting on the season's deeper meaning, the Kedahge called for a moment of pause amidst the chaos and uncertainty of the world, urging everyone to embrace the peace and hope offered by Jesus. He noted, "Peace is not just something we hope for, but something we already have in Him."

As families and friends gather to celebrate, Vero reminded citizens to focus on the true essence of Christmas—Christ's presence in their lives. Looking ahead to the New Year, he conveyed wishes for blessings, guidance, and the strength to face challenges with unwavering faith in God's promise of eternal companionship and faithfulness.
