
Kohima, January 30 (MExN): The Business Advisory Committee (BAC) held a meeting on January 28 in the Assembly Committee Room under the Chairmanship of Sharingain Longkumer, Speaker-in-charge, Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) and finalised the Provisional Programme for the Fifth Session of the 13th Assembly. The Committee decided to hold the session on February 7, 8, 13, 14 and 15.
During the session, the following Business would be taken up: Obituary Reference, Questions, Election of Speaker, Laying of Annual Administrative Reports, Laying of Reports and Rules, Presentation of Assembly Committee Reports, Debate on the Motion of Thanks to the Governor's Address, Presentation of Supplementary Demands for Grants for the year 2019-2020, Discussion and voting on Supplementary Demands for Grants for the year 2019-2020, Presentation of the Budget for the year 2020-2021, Discussion and voting on the Budget for the year 2020-2021, Discussion on Matters of Public Importance, Introduction, Consideration and passing of the Nagaland Appropriation (No.1 & No.2) Bills, 2020, Introduction of Government Bills, Consideration and Passing of Government Bills, Presentation of C&AG Reports, Announcement of the Constitution of various Financial and Non-Financial Committees by the Speaker, Announcement of Panel of Chairmen, Unfinished Business, if any and Adjournment of the Session sine-die.
Car and official gallery passes
The car and official gallery passes will be issued from February 5 onwards.
• Ministers and AHODs are required to collect the car and official gallery passes from the Special Secretary (Home), Civil Secretariat, Kohima.
• Advisors, MLAs, PS/PA and other Department Officials are requested to collect car passes from the Reception Counter Gate No-II, Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat.
• HODs and the media representatives may collect their car passes from the Reception Counter, Gate No-1, Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat.
