Phek, April 7 (MExN): A financial inclusion mela organized by Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission, BMMU Pfutsero at Pfutseromi village under Pfutsero RD Block on April 6.
A DIPR report stated that Vithwel Kweho, EAC Khezhakeno & Zuketsa attended the function as special guest in the presence of other dignitaries, resource persons from RD department, SBI, NStCB, Indian Postal Service and State Health Agency under Health and Family Welfare Department. The Village leaders, Block Federation leaders, VLO leaders from various village and SHG members participated in the Mela.
The EAC Khezhakeno & Zuketsa encouraged the SHGs members and community members to come forward to enroll themselves in the financial institutions which will assist them to avail various Govt. schemes and opportunities offered by various departments and Government agencies. He also encouraged stakeholders at various levels to participate in the women empowerment for the development of the community at large.
Vekhrolo Koza, BDO cum BMM Pfutsero Block in his greetings acknowledged the active participations of the SHG members at the community level activities and encouraged the SHG members to actively participate in the NSRLM developmental programs.
Resource Persons, Dr Citalu Hesuh, Deputy CMO & District Nodal Officer PM-JAY, Phek, Vizoto Angami, Branch Manager from SBI, Peter Puro, Banking Assistant from NStCB, Naorem Stallin, Sub-Post Master from Indian Postal Service shared the various Social Security Schemes and Credit Linkages opportunities such as PMSBY, PMJJBY, APY, PMJAY.
Veluhu Vero, Block Program Manager, NSRLM Pfutsero highlighted various activities and progress of the NSRLM SHGs under Pfutsero Block. Ruth Khutsoh, Bank Sakhi presented the Case Study on Financial Inclusion. ZT Slingshot performed his song ‘NIMOK POWER’ which won Nagaland Music Award Song of the Year 2020.
The National Award Trophies on Best SHG was handed over to GRACE SHG of Pfutseromi Village by the special guest.
