Tuensang, October 5 (MExN): Nagaland State Co-operative Bank Ltd (NStCB) in collaboration with BDO Shamator organised Financial Literacy Camp for VDBs on October 3 at Shamator town. VK Disong, AGM, NSCB, emphasized on how VDB can act as mini bank in a village. He also shared various schemes of the banks.
Takotoshi Jamir, BDO Shamator, in his speech asked the villagers to maintain books of account properly and also asked the villagers to speed up opening of bank account under job cards. The meeting was chaired by Nungsangtsungba, SO, and welcome address was delivered by Helimong, President, VDB Union Shamator. Shamator block covers 10 villages and NSCB covers the whole of Tuensang District with one branch at Tuensang town.
