Dimapur, February 17 (MExN): The Chümoukedima Village Youth Society (CVYS) has informed the general public on its resolution to strictly ban all kinds of hunting and fishing in and within the village jurisdiction, violators will be apprehended and fines will be imposed up to Rs. 1,00,000/- (one lakh) depending on the severity of the violation and damages. Also any kind of fishing and picnicking at Khuovarü is strictly prohibited effective immediately from the publication of this press release, informed CVYS President, Vikhwe Yhoshü and General Secretary, Rokovikho Thepa. General public are advised to take note of the following strictures within the jurisdiction: Desist from igniting Jungle burning/ wild fires; Picnicking without permission from the youth office; Collecting firewood and fodder feeds; Unauthorized door to door business, scrap business etc. CVYS also informed that if any defaulters are apprehended in violation of the above strictures, the person/party shall be solely responsible for the unheeded act and shall be penalised and dealt with as per the standing resolution. Further, CVYS informs that youth volunteers will keep regular vigil to prevent any miscreants and anti-socials from disturbing the peaceful atmosphere in the village jurisdiction, as such, have advise people to avoid loitering around in the village vicinity after 8:00 pm without genuine reasons.
