 
                          
                  
DIMAPUR, JANUARY 4: A fire broke out at a plywood factory in Chumukedima at around 1 pm on Saturday, completely gutting down the entire structure. The exact cause of the fire is not known, although, it is suspected to have been be caused by a short circuit. W. Sashi Jamir, OC, Chumukedima Fire Brigade, informed that about 20 fire brigade vans were pressed into service to contain the fire. However he stated that since most of the structures were made of bamboo mats and plywood, they were destroyed by the flames in no time.
