KIPHIRE, May 5 (MExN): The Fire and Emergency Services, Kiphire, conducted a fire evacuation drill and rescue method training at Saramati Modern View High School on May 5 to promote fire safety awareness among students and staff.
The one-day exercise included live demonstrations on evacuation procedures and basic rescue techniques in the event of a fire emergency. According to officials, the session was designed to equip participants with practical skills and knowledge to ensure personal safety and assist others during potential incidents.
During the drill, students and school personnel actively participated in a simulated fire scenario that emphasized the importance of swift, calm, and organized evacuation. Firefighters also trained the attendees in the use of fire extinguishers and other first-response tools.
