15 shops, 2 warehouses, 4 houses gutted DIMAPUR, APRIL 19 (MExN): At least 15 shops, 4 houses and 2 warehouses were gutted in a fire that broke out at Doyapur Bazaar under Dhansiri sub-division. The fire started at around 2:15am, April 19. The Doyapur Bazaar Committee informed that two houses had to be dismantled to prevent the blaze from spreading. There were no casualties but properties estimated to be worth lakhs were destroyed in the fire, the cause of which was yet to be ascertained. The bad road leading to Doyapur was stated to have compounded the problem as it took the Fire Brigade 2 hours to reach.
