Fireflood to release first album early 2017

Morung Express News   Fireflood- a Bangalore based gospel band formed in May 2014 will be releasing their first album early 2017 featuring 12 of their originals.   The band was formed with the motive to move people closer to God through gospel music. Targeting mostly young people going through depression or crisis in life, the band also celebrates the joy and blessings of being a Christian, the power of prayers and the unconditional love of Christ.   "Gospel has many genres and they should be allowed to be explored. Genres don't matter as long as we glorify His name, our songs are a mixed genre and they are very sing-able and easy to learn," says Fireflood vocalist Kekhriesenuo Ringa.   The band currently consists of six members; Jeven john and Kekhriesenuo Ringa on the vocals, Ethan Alrico as the drummer, Dakeri on the Piano, Algan (Rhythm guitar) and Willy (Lead). Jeven John is also a member of the gospel rap rock band Transitpoint.   The first album of Fireflood which will be released in 2017 will focus on music that heals the soul through the blessings of Christ. One of their songs "letting go" speaks about overcoming pain and depression by surrendering oneself completely to Jesus.   "Letting go is so personal to me, I can relate to it and I’m sure a lot of people who have been under depression would relate to it," says Kekhriesenuo Ringa who is currently a vocal teacher at the Music Academy Kohima.
