Kohima, April 19 (DIPR): The Nagaland State Social Welfare Board organized the 1st Nagaland Adolescent Girls’ Club Inter Singing competition on the theme ‘In praise of Singing’ on April 19 at Oking Christian School Auditorium.
Altogether five schools namely Bayavu Hill High School, Government Middle School L. Khel, Mewi School, Mezhur Higher Secondary School and Oking Christian School participated in the category of solo, duet and quartet.
Kenei Mezhur and Kevidesier Khruomo enthralled the audience with their special numbers. L.C. Sekhose and Neisedelie Yaotsu presented rap song titled “Hallelujah” while Dancers United enlightened the gathering with their dance. Pelesanuo presented Tati voice.
Secretary, NSSWB, Daisy Mezhur delivered the welcome address while Ruovinuo Kiewhuo compered the programme. Concluding remarks was given by Medochunuo Chielie while Administrator, OCS, Zhopota Rhakho proposed vote of thanks.
The judges of the competition were Faculty member Music Academy Kohima, Asin Shurhozelie; Proprietor, Blooming Dale Kohima, Ledilhounuo Sekhose and Music Teacher, Grace Higher Secondary School, Kohima, Noune Kuotsu.
