Kohima, July 13 (DIPR): The First Phase of Photography Campaign for PER & EPIC was successfully completed with 8,67,052 Electors photographed out of a total State electorate of 13,25,744 covered, which is 66.6%.
The district-wise details are given below. This encouraging response has been possible due to the whole hearted cooperation extended by all Political parties, NGOs, Government officials, Village and Town Authorities, the Media and the people of the State; to whom the office of the Election department has extended its gratitude and appreciations.
The Second Phase of photography campaign is being conducted from July 2 to 27. The detail programme covering all the 1790 Polling Stations will be available with the concerned BLOs, DC & DEOs and at CEOs website at ceo_nagaland@eci.gov.in. All the citizens who are enrolled but had not yet been photographed are requested to go to their concerned Polling Stations to get photographed on the scheduled date. Since the Second phase is the last opportunity to get photographed for PER & EPIC, it is hoped that all concerned will extend their fullest cooperation for the success of the photography campaign to ensure accurate Photo Electoral Roll and Photo ID Cards.
