Longleng, September 10 (MExN): The first Special Credit Outreach Program on PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi at Bhumnyu village under Longleng district on September 10.
It was conducted by State Bank of India (SBI) Longleng branch along with Bank officials from Jorhart headed by Jitendra Kant Thakur, Deputy General Manager Jorhart, Kreho Athili, Chief Manager, FI RBO Mokokchung, Hatneikim Gangte Imsong (LDM) and team from Mokokchung, District Administration Longleng and Department of RD.
During the programme, Jitendra Kant Thakur, DGM Jorhart gave a brief highlight on PM-Kisan loan, stated a DIPR report.
Trongdipa Tongpi Sangtam, SDO (Civil), Longleng in short address urged the genuine beneficiaries to avail the loan and also recover the amount of the interest on time given by the bank to avoid confusion between the beneficiaries and the bank. “This also builds healthy relationship between the two. Bank also provides loans for various programmes but misusing the benefit should be avoided,” he stated. The SDO (C) also requested education youth and council members to help the beneficiaries in filling up the forms to avail of the loan.
The programme was attended by the district Administration, Department of fishery, Agri, GBs and beneficiaries of Bhumnyu village.
The programme will be conducted at other block villages under Longleng district till September 29.
