FMSCI Indian National Rally C’ship from Dec 17-19

Dimapur, December 15 (MExN): After couple of postponements due to Covid-19 pandemic, the 2021-2022 season of FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship (INRC) is scheduled from December 17 to 19.

Unfortunately the event has been reduced from the usual 8 rounds of championship: Round -1 Vishakaptnam, December; Round-2 Bengaluru, January; Round -3 Coimbatore, February; Round- 4 MMSC, March.

Nagaland Adventure Club (NAC) in a press release said that all eyes will be glued of the performance of Lanusanen Pongener, who took part in most of the rallies in the last three years. “Inspite of all the difficulties, rose like a phoenix and won a round in the champions yatch club MRF Indian National Rally Championship to become the first Naga to earn the honour in highly competitive 33 years history of National Championship to win INRC 4 class in the first round and thereby print the name of Nagaland in INRC Hall of Fame,” NAC stated.

The club has also extended its best wishes to Northeast’s first female racer, Phoebe Dale Nongrum who is regarded as the pioneer of women’s motorsports in Meghalaya. Nongrum started racing in 2017. She will be the first lady driver to represent North East for the 2021 INRC through the courtesy of Vamcy Merla.
