Dimapur, September 12 (MExN): The All Nagaland Junior Engineers’ Association (ANJEA) on Monday informed that it has temporarily called off its protest with effect from September 13. A decision to this effect was taken following a meeting convened by the Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Works & Housing Department on September 12 in connection with a representation submitted by the Association. “The Association had a healthy meeting to resolve the stagnation issues and the problems of the Junior Engineers in regard to the Nagaland Engineering Service Rules (NESR) was thoroughly deliberated and discussed. The Government has assured to address the issue on priority after a consultative meeting with all the stake holders and HoDs from NPWD, Power and PHED which is likely to be convened shortly,” the ANJEA stated in a press release.
