Suruhuto, February 1 (MExN): The “international standard size football ground” at Suruhuto town was inaugurated by Advisor for Tourism, Art and Culture, H Khehovi Yeputhomi on February 1.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, the advisor thanked God for enabling the construction of the long awaited public ground as planned, stated a press release issued by the PS to the Advisor. To have an “International standard” size football ground at Suruhuto town was long felt dream which has now been fulfilled and the Advisor expressed optimism that this ground will benefit the younger generation in the field of sports.
Meanwhile, the Advisor told the area people to have patience because nothing is ready-made, there is a time to sow and time to reap so also development works also eventually take shapes but are not done overnight. Therefore, he said people should also understand the reality and patiently give time to leaders to materialize their wishes and requirements.
Hovishe Ayemi, Chairman Adhoc Town Council briefed on the eight month-long construction period where “two big mountains” were leveled to make the playground.
