The trials are aimed at identifying emerging football talent in Nagaland for potential selection into two categories: the Under-17 team (for players born between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010) and the Reserve Team (for those born between January 1, 2005 and December 31, 2008), KDFA announced Monday.
Participants are required to report at the venue by 8:00 a.m. and must carry a birth certificate, Aadhaar card, and a completed registration form.
KDFA stated that the trials will adhere to standard operating procedures issued by the NFA, in line with its coordination with the All India Football Federation (AIFF).
NorthEast United FC reiterated its commitment to providing a platform for young footballers in the region. The club expressed confidence in the talent emerging from Nagaland and said that including players from the state in its squads would both support individual careers and elevate Nagaland’s visibility in Indian football.
