Former minister late Huska Sumi condoled

Dimapur, March 6 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland, Nikhil Kumar has mourned the demise of late Huska Sumi. Expressing his sorrow, the governor in a note addressed  to Nagatoli Huska, wife of late Huska conveyed his heartfelt condolences to his family members.
He said: “I am saddened to hear of the demise of your respected husband Shri Huska Sumi. His contribution as a Member of the Nagaland Legislature and a Minister in the State Government will be ever remembered.  In his demise, people of Nagaland have lost a tall and prominent leader. I convey my heartfelt sympathies to you all and pray to the Almighty to grant you strength to bear this irreparable loss.  May his soul rest in peace.”
In another note, the EX-Parliamentarian Association of Nagaland (EPAN) has also expressed "great shock" over the passing away of former minister Huska Sumi.
The EPAN stated that he was a man of outstanding character and who remained steadfast in his ideology particularly on Indo-Naga political issue. The EPAN also added that it has lost a very important resourceful person, who had a treasure of many events in the political history of Nagas. His demise had left a serious vacuum in our association, which cannot be filled. It has also conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and prays that God will grant them courage to bear the loss.
Also the Lotha Hoho Dimapur  (LHD) has mourned the untimely demise of late Huska Sumi. LHD through a condolence note stated that late Huska Sumi was a staunch nationalist, who worked and spoke the rights of the Nagas with courage and determination for the last three decades as a legislature and as a minister.
