Dimapur, June 3 (MExN): Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) has mourned the demise of its former president Zheshito Swu who held the office from 2016-2019.
Recollecting him as a courageous and dynamic leader, WSH said, “His death is an immense loss to our people. Till his last he stood firmly for his people and his demise has left a big vacuum amongst the Sumi tribe.”
The WSH extended its deepest sympathy to Satoli and children during this grieving hour and pray to Almighty God to give them solace and strength to endure as they traverse through this tragic moment.
The Western Sumi Youth Front (WSYF) in its condolence said that Zheshito Swu, GB, Kiyevi village and a former President of Western Sumi Hoho was a dynamic and resolute leader who had a genuine love for his people.
“He wholeheartedly rendered his service in different capacities for the upliftment of the society. He stood for the rights of our people and deflected the aspiration of Western Sumis. His contribution towards our community will remain afresh in the annals of our people,” it stated.
WSYF conveyed its condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
