
Kohima, June 13 (MExN): The inaugural function of the Forum on the Naga Languages, an initiative of Nagaland University in collaboration with the State Council of Educational Research & Training, Kohima and the Institute of World Languages (Ura Academy), Kohima will take place on June 15 at 11:00 AM at National Institute of e-Learning and Information Technology, Meriema.
Nagaland’s Governor Dr. Ashwani Kumar, who is also chief rector of Nagaland University will grace the function as the chief guest. Ura Academy president Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu and SCERT director Vipralhou Kesiezie will also speak on the occasion.
The programme will be chaired by Prof. Lanunungsang, pro-vice chancellor Nagaland University, Kohima Campus, Meriema while welcome address will be delivered by Dr. Metuo Liezietsu, member Linguistics Fraternity Nagaland University. The concept note and presentation on the Naga languages will be made by Dr. Mimi Kevichüsa Ezung, coordinator (2013-14), Linguistics Fraternity Nagaland University and Dr. Pangersenla Walling, member Linguistics Fraternity Nagaland University respectively. Vote of thanks will be proposed by Dr. D. Kuolie, member, Linguistics Fraternity Nagaland University.
