Kohima, March 10 (MExN): The Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) concluded the Foundational Music Production Workshop on March 8 under the Skilling Nagaland initiative.

The workshop, which saw the participation of 22 aspiring music producers and musicians, focused on equipping them with essential production skills and exposure to modern music technology.

Imcha Imchen, the resource person for the training program encourage the participants to move forward and assured his assistance at any point of time in the days to come.

He also thanked the participants for being very active learners and for aiding the training program.

In the valedictory programme, participants shared overwhelmingly positive feedback, highlighting that learning about AI in music production was one of the most interesting aspects of the workshop.

They also appreciated the opportunity to work with new music production software, gaining hands-on experience that enhanced their technical skills.

Many expressed gratitude for the free-of-cost learning experience and urged TaFMA to continue organizing similar capacity-building programs in the future.

Dr Hovithal Sothu, Project Director, exhorted the trainees. He encouraged participants to remain steadfast and committed to their craft. He also extended his gratitude to Theja Meru, Chairman, TaFMA, for his dedication to the growth of Nagaland’s music and arts industry. Assuring continued support, Dr Sothu emphasized that more professional training programs will be conducted in the coming days.

The workshop concluded with the distribution of certificates by Adu Keditsu, Manager (Electrical & Electronics), and Aleno Sale, Media Officer.
