Dimapur, August 10 (MExN): Dimapur Police arrested four persons in connection to abduction and illegal detention of a woman. The accused have been identified as Semato Shohe (35) “Leacy” NSCN (IM), Ahuka Yeptho (36) “Secretary” NSCN (IM), Sunjemtoshi Aier (42), and Supong Ao (46).
According to an update from Addl Dy Commissioner of Police (Crime) & PRO, Dimapur the arrests were made on different dates following a complaint lodged by the victim that “she was illegally detained by unknown people for four days in an unknown location.”
“During investigation it was ascertained that the issue originated from the victim’s inability to pay back a loan amounting to several lakhs of rupees to a local credit society,” the PRO informed. In this regard, a case has been registered in East Police Station, Dimapur.
